Some of my Favorite Tequila's
If you listen to the VIbe Morning Show...you know I love all things Mexican...especially TEQUILA!
In fact I have a whole room in my house dedicated to the fine Mexican nectar complete with a huge collection, so I thought I would share with you some of my favorites...in no particular order.

Patron
There are 3 different types of Tequila....Anejo, Reposado, and Blanco...the difference between each is simple the amount of time they are aged. All 3 of Patrons tequila are so smooth you can sip 'em. Most labels have 1 or 2 out of the 3 that are good...but all three in this lineup are great. Patron is the hot drink among celebrities, and is readily available in most liquor stores. Plus my buddy Darryl works for Patron, so I have to give him some props.

Gran Centenario Anejo
Most people think you have to shoot tequila, with some salt and a lime wedge. Such is not the case with a really good aged Tequila...in fact it's sooo smooth...you can sip it savor the taste. My favorite sipping tequila (which usually changes every couple of months) at the moment is Gran Centenario Anejo. So smooth...aged over 2 years in oak barrels....if I didn't; tell you it was tequila you would never know...it's that smooth. I am not sure if this is available in Canada yet...My parents picked it up for me last time they were in Puerto Vallarta.

El Jimador Anejo
My friend Ken, president of Taco Time turned me on to this brand of tequila when he dropped off some samples of the reposado for us one morning on the VIbe Morning Show. I tried the Anejo shortly after and it has become one of my staples every since. So smooth and a great taste.

Chad's 3 favorite things to throw on the BBQ
It doesn't matter if there is a blizzard outside, or if it's a hot summer day, chances our I am making dinner on my BBQ. My rule....if you can cook it in an oven...or a stove top...you can BBQ it better. Here are a couple of my favorites to throw on the grill.

Grilled Veggie Pesto Feta Wrap
I tried at my local breakfast hangout and tried it on my BBQ. FANTASTIC. You can throw in some chicken if ya want...but basically roll up some of your favorite crunchy veggies in a tortilla shell...add some feta and pesto...and throw on the grill, low hear...for about 10 minutes (5 per side) and enjoy.

Guinness Pork Ribs
I boil my ribs in Guinness Beer on the Side burner of my BBQ for about 3 to 3.5 hours. Then I baste them in BBQ sauce (I make my own) then throw them on high heat for about 15 minutes. If you don't like Guinness, boil your ribs in Root Beer for a sweeter taste. So Yummy!!!

Tequila Orange Chicken Breast.
Here I go with the tequila again, but this one is pretty simple too. Just mix a cup or 2 of Orange juice...some butter....tequila and a bit of lime juice and marinade your chicken overnight, or for a few hours if it is last minute. Grill on medium heat for about 15-17 minutes and you have the sweet  taste of Mexico in your mouth!

3 reasons why Chad  loves his Bulldog Rufus...and thinks Bulldogs are misunderstood.

I don't know what is about Bulldogs that I love so much...but ever since I was a kid I dreamed of one day having a bulldog named "Rufus".
Well in 2002 I made that dream a reality. I got Rufus from a breeder and friend Kandie at www.irocbulldogs.com, best breeder in Alberta, and finding a good breeder is key when looking for a bulldog of your own. I highly recommend Kandie and her family.

1. There is a big misconception that Bulldogs are mean grumpy dogs. In fact the complete opposite are true. Many people are actually surprised to learn bulldogs are a great family dogs and they are great with children. Most of this is due to their very calm and loyal nature. I do not have any kids of my own....but it certainly is nice when little once are around the house.

2. Bulldogs by nature do not need alot of exercise, due to their breathing complications. So to be honest with you, outside of taking care of his chewing addiction at a young age, Rufus is pretty low maintenance.

3. You don't see many bulldogs out there....but when I do take him for a walk...or down to the park...eveyone gravitates towards the big drooly guy with the major underbite. And so what if they drool...we all did at some point in our lives...so get over it!
