So I read this story yesterday...
Des Moines, Iowa ... A college student was charged with assaulting a police officer ... with M&Ms.Ian McGuire, 20, was arrested early Sunday at a convenience store after Drake University security guards noticed the candies falling on the ground around the officer, who was investigating a hit-and-run accident involving an allegedly intoxicated man. When the officer turned around, an M&M hit his shoulder, according to a police report. McGuire claimed he threw the candy because he was "sticking up for his friend," who was reportedly the suspect in the hit-and-run.

Man Chelsea is mad...Sort of - she knew we were gonna ta;l about the "Giving out her phone number" thing today...But just like anyone who has a "denile issue" she didn't realize her problem was so severe until the "awful" truth came out on air...She has a problem giving her phone number out to random guys who ask...She says it's innocent but on more than one occasion it's happened and in 2 occasions she regretted doing it...So I'm trying to help her out with some "Tough Love". We spoke about it on the air and we got lots of responses but the big one had to do with some "Rejection Hotline" that many Calgary women give out to unsuspecting men who ask for their phone numbers...I can't remember the number but the message wasn't very subtle...Funny but not subtle..Oops - Not Enough Time! Yesterday I spoke about having a conversation with Chelsea about her "Habit"...Well, I actually didn't have enought time to fit it in this afternoon...So we'll have to push it to Monday...What could this "Habit" be? I was trying to be "Smart" with the "Fe" reference...That's the symbol for IRON on the periodic Table...Why am I blogging about "Iron"? Cuz I saw "IRON MAN" last night and it was AWESOME! Not trying to sound like a "Comic-con" dork or anything but since there is a pretty big audience for this kind of movie, add in the fact that it was WICKED and studio's are projecting that it'll bring in close to $75 Million over the weekend...That's a pretty big deal!! Robert Downey Jr - back in a big way!! As for my review...How bout this - it will be well worth you price of addmission - NUFF SAID!!! I give it a 5 out of 5 on the "Master-Movie-Meter"

This weekend I finally had a chance to take the kids to "Bulldog Interactive Fitness" (They've been sponsoring my "Lyrical Fitness" game for the last few weeks). It's a fitness facility for kids up to 15 years old and there are different programs for the different age groups. My kids are 12 & 9 and they LOVED it. It's a pretty awesome way for kids to exercise/workout without actually feeling like they're doing it (this is great for my son who LOVES video games - at Bulldog Interactive Fitness he actually gets to play them but has to exercise for it). If you want to get your kids to be more active, get a healthy attitude have fun or at the very least just get up off the couch and do something then this is the place for you! First...My bad for missing the blog yesterday...Now, Went and checked out 2 of the new movies that will be in theaters this weekend...Baby Mama with Tina Fey & Amy Poehler (with a guest spot from a pretty funny Steve Martin). You'll know where the movie is going but it's a fun trip with some pretty cute/funny moments...a 2.5 out of 5. Yesterday I went to the Harold & Kumar: Escape From Guantanamo Bay premiere...This was a laugh out loud comedy...You obviously must know whet kind of movie you're in for before you go but if you liked the 1st one you'll LOVE this one...a 4 out of 5 for me...One thing though, I've never understood parents who bring little kids to rated R movies...Common sense should tell you Harold & Kumar isn't for anyone under 14 or 15 - I swear I saw an 10 or 11 year old girl in the theater last night!?!?!You WILL Laugh...If You're Into That Kinda Thing! I've got a couple of light "marks" on my body (face/neck/arms/etc) and Chelsea is giving me heck...She's pretty concerned (which I love her for), she doesn't want me to get hurt...Trust me - I don't want to get hurt either. Problem is I train and then come to work...So my WIFE hasn't seen me yet...So If I'm getting crap from Chelsea, I can only imagine what I've got instore for me when I get home and the "Boss" sees me...Oh well...I didn't have to go to the hospital (yet), plus you should see the other guy :)

So I just got a new camera...It's a Canon Power Shot S5IS...I do fancy myself a pretty decent photographer...Now I'm no Anne Gedes or Allan Maudie (side note: he just shot the pictures for the VIBE $98,000.00 Dream Wedding and they look AMAZING!!!) but I think I have an eye for a pretty good picture...I do know I look better behind the camera than infront of it :) ...Maybe I can get Allan to take my picture for the site so I don't look so goofy and I'll get some pointers from him as well and I'm gonna try to take some cool pics and post them here in the future...

I'm addicted to the Food Network...Regardless if it's the Canadian Channel or the US one...I will watch that thing all day long...Not so much cuz I love food but because I think in another life I was meant to be a world class chef! Not in this life, in another :)
I also LOVE Top Chef on the Bravo Network...One of the BEST shows on TV and no, not because host Padma Lakshmi is smoking hot...It's cuz they give you the right combination of Drama/fun/food (and not neccesarily in that order). My wife thinks I'm nuts but my daughter will watch with me as well and to be quite honest - she'll watch without me too...She's only 9.

OK...I'm still recovering from the Juno weekend...And, no, I don't drink so I'm not hungover or anything...Just really tired. Between running around the city with all my friends that were in town, I've been spending long days on the set of a movie being filmed here in Calgary...It stars Heather Locklear and Vanessa L. Williams and it's called "Flirting With 40". I think I've had 8 hours of sleep betwen last Wednesday and today!! I'm not built for this "rockstar" lifestyle (sorry Chad Krueger).
