Girlie Stuff! The Beautiful Gala and Ford Model Search!

Two big events are happening this weekend for those of us who enjoy the girlie things in life.

First one being tonight it's called "Beautiful Gala". I actually had Connie Jakab on the radio today to chat about this first annual event. What a great event this will be Friday May 9th doors open at 5:30 pm at the Wedding Pavillion just off of 16th ave wb just after COP. There's a plated dinner, silent auction, goodie bags and door prizes all for women! The money raised is going towards a non profit organization called Homestart, which helps single moms out and helps them with things like rent. Connie says that she's just a regular, average mom who's decided to step out and become a part of the solution to make a difference in the city with the issue of homelessness. For the first time there will be a Beauty Trends workshop to get the latest on spring/summer trends from Maybelline, Diesel and Redken. The Canadian winner will then go up against other countries for the Title!
