You WILL Laugh...If You're Into That Kinda Thing! April 25, 2008

First...My bad for missing the blog yesterday...Now, Went and checked out 2 of the new movies that will be in theaters this weekend...Baby Mama with Tina Fey & Amy Poehler (with a guest spot from a pretty funny Steve Martin). You'll know where the movie is going but it's a fun trip with some pretty cute/funny moments...a 2.5 out of 5. Yesterday I went to the Harold & Kumar: Escape From Guantanamo Bay premiere...This was a laugh out loud comedy...You obviously must know whet kind of movie you're in for before you go but if you liked the 1st one you'll LOVE this one...a 4 out of 5 for me...One thing though, I've never understood parents who bring little kids to rated R movies...Common sense should tell you Harold & Kumar isn't for anyone under 14 or 15 - I swear I saw an 10 or 11 year old girl in the theater last night!?!?! And yes, there was definitely some major ADULT humor in this movie...I contemplated taking my 12 year old son and in hindsight i'm glad he didn't come...At the end of the day - to each is own but seeing a kid watch Harold & Kumar just seems wrong...Then again I was 10 when "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" and "Porky's" came out and I turned out just fine :)
