My Juno Weekend

SO my Juno weekend begun on Friday when i joined my old friends and bandmates from Edmonton for Junofest. At midnight we arrived at the Underground on 10th ave and performed a couple of tracks together. Thenwe went to the Red Bull Music Academy party at the Chinese Cultural Center. It was WILD due to all the free booze flowing behind the DJ's. Russel Peters was in the house. I got to chat to Belly and Kiesha Chante(who may be in a romantic relationship with Belly's manager, they were inseperable all weekend, but he may have been acting as her bodyguard) Smalltown DJ's were in the house and a gang of another amazing people. On saturday I had to work, i was pretty hung over so i didnt go to any parties that night. On Sunday I hit up the Juno awards then the Russel Peters party at Tangerine. In one of the VIP areas(where people paid 5 thousand dollars for a table) there were these two amazing performers. I think they were contortionists, they assumed the most amazing poses. I have a picture...but i still have to get it off the digi cam. It was great but when Russel peters showed up he was swarmed! He looked overwhelmed. The music was great. Calgary's own DJ AL V was on the decks followed by Starting From Scratch from T.O. After i was done there I went to the EMI party with the boys from BrassMunk. There i found K-OS spinning the tunes! He was amazing. As soon as he was done, i went home. That was my Juno (party) weekend. Hope you has some fun times too! LOVE Miss ange
