WHY VITAMIN D IS IMPORTANT: Danish scientists released new research Sunday (March 7th) on the importance of Vitamin D, finding that the immune system's killer cells, called T cells, rely on Vitamin D to become active. The Yay! Scale was the brainstorm of a student. She saw that too many of her friends were overly concerned with a number. So she erased all the numbers on a bathroom scale and replaced them with words such as "Hot", "Cute", "Ravishing" and "Lovely". The creator of the Yay! Scales says (quote) "A number will not determine how happy you are. A scale shouldn't be punishing. Instead, it should fill you with self-esteem."
