Congatulations the winners of the Vibe 98-5 $50,000 Dream Baby Shower are Laura and Brad Lobb, with baby Autumn Hope. They were nominated by their friend Jennifer and Calgary has shown their love and support by voting for them to win.

I am writing on behalf of Laura and Brad Lobb.  They NEED to win this contest.  Brad who is only 33 years old was diagnosed two months ago with stage 3 colon cancer and only a couple of weeks ago Laura gave birth to their 3rd child.  It was an emotional birth to say the least and they have named the baby Autumn Hope, a fitting name. Brad was scheduled to start chemo therapy right after the baby was born however, 24 hours after Laura gave birth, Brad was hospitalized with a bowel obstruction and had to undergo surgery. Now Brad will undergo major chemotherapy and radiation and will likely have to stay in the hospital.  Brad has had to stop his job as a contractor and does not have disability insurance.  They have been relying on financial donations from friends and family simply to pay for their living expenses and not lose their house. This is why they NEED to win this contest.
