This collection is drawn from six sessions T-bone Walker did between 1945 and 1953 for the Rhumboogie, Black & White, and Imperial record labels. Walker had been playing electric guitar for a couple of years, and with backing from Jack Mcvea, Ted Buckner, Lloyd Glenn, Bumps Myers, and Jim Wynn, he offers up a characteristic mix of slow blues, T-bone shuffles, and the occasional instrumental, all with a slightly swinging edge and featuring his elegant, fluid guitar lines.
