LTJ Bukem - Logical Progression, Level 1 [2001]

The best overview of Ltj Bukem's accomplishments, Logical Progression functions three ways: as a Bukem basic-trainer, a retrospective of his Good Looking and Looking Good labels, and as a DJ mix album (though the latter occurs only on disc two). Bukem's most famous recordings ("Demon's Theme," "Music," "Horizons") appear here, as well as the Looking Good anthem "Links" by Chameleon and contributions from Pfm, Peshay, Photek, and Funky Technicians. The other two discs on the 2001 reissue feature mixing from Bukem himself, though the relative constraints inherent in the album's nature make the mixing a bit of a disappointment -- at least compared to his volume in the Mixmag Live! series. Read More
