Drawing its track listing entirely from her first album, Doin' the Do is a fairly big rip-off. There really isn't a problem with the music, which is literally every song from the first album plus a few remixes for good measure. The problem is that an entire album of material, 1992's Grrr! For this album to even claim to be her "very best" material is a joke; what about "I'm on My Way," or "Let Me Take You There," or any of the other fun rap-pop ditties from her sophomore albumNULL This is nothing more than a re-release of Boomania with bonus tracks, and that was a spotty effort that was dragged down by boring synth pop fluff like "Shame."
