Super Furry Animals - Ice Hockey Hair

Super Furry Animals's Ice Hockey Hair EP is another fun, cool group of songs from a band that can seemingly do no wrong. The four tracks here work as a bridge from the band's spaced-out rock style on Radiator to the pop/rock electronic experimentation found on Guerilla. "Smokin'" is a barn-storming song which wouldn't seem out of place on the soundtrack to a Guy Ritchie small-time-mobster movie. Goofy, wavering keyboards meet with fuzzy, crunching guitars over repeated chants of "I just wanna smoke it."
