Art Zoyd - Marathonnere I

No group sounds quite like Art Zoyd. The blend of Spartan, gloomy chamber rock; dark ambient; and new simplicity the Belgian outfit achieved has never been copied. Their apparent coldness and elitism have attracted much criticism, but support from a devoted cult following pushed the group to continue their course. Sadly, in the 1990s the music became predictable, as the recipe ossified around the stable trio of Patricia Dallio, Gérard Hourbette, and Thierry Zaboïtzeff.
