Essential late ?50s R&B by one of rocks' most nefarious characters. Specialty Records released Williams from his contract in 1959 after he was sent to prison for drug dealing. The singer/pianist expired from a gunshot in 1980 that was rumored a hit but ruled self-inflicted. Bad career choice aside, Williams uncorks with unbridled fury on his classic musical caricatures: "Short Fat Fannie," "Bony Moronie," "Dizzy Miss Lizzy" and 21 others.
