Black Mafia may look like the average No Limit album, but it differs in some important ways. The main difference is that it isn't nearly as flat musically as most No Limit records, exploring interesting sonic territory while retaining the deep, stoned, funky grooves that make the records popular. Furthermore, Steady Mobb'n are better rappers than the average No Limit MC, as the guest appearances illustrate.
