Believe the title -- this two-CD best-of is the definitive collection by the most creative group to emerge from the Washington, D.C., go-go scene. Selected by the group itself, the songs don't sound like calls to party hearty as much as recorded parties with bassist Tony Fisher as the gruff-voiced but cordial host leading the rapped call-and-response chants over potent funk grooves.
