Mr. Serv-On - Life Insurance

One of the better albums on No Limit Records, Mr. Serv-on's debut album, Life Insurance, isn't all that different from its fellow No Limit travelers. Like anyone else in Master P's stable, Mr. Serv-on churns out gangsta rap that panders to the lowest common denominator. In the case of Life Insurance, that isn't particularly bad, since Mr. Serv-on is a fine rapper and the production cleverly co-opts a number of different styles, ranging from West Coast gangsta to Southern bass funk. Read More
