There are few things that rile the hardcore drum'n'bass contingent more than hearing people having a good time. With knee-wobbingly good jump-up jungle, the City of Brotherly Love's Dieselboy willingly opts to piss off the elite so he can blast your woofers out of their shells. Funny thing is how all of this was a collaborative project from the start. Suburban Base owner Dan Donnely goes through his record box to choose most of these tunes -- ranging from the two-step rasta-jungle of Cain and Bizz's "Everyday" to the hip-hop bounce of Dope Skillz' "6 Million Ways to Die" -- but the compilation is otherwise compelling mostly for how Dieselboy spins the hyperkinetic, schizo beats in tune with an unapologetic dancefloor aesthetic. Read More
