Cubanate - Antimatter

Though no indication appears anywhere on the disc about this, Antimatter collects a variety of early singles and tracks from the band rather than being a formal debut album. As such, it promises a lot but doesn't fully deliver. The opening track, "Body Burn," is flat-out amazing, still one of their best tunes and frankly one of the best industrial-dance tunes ever, an energetic blast of sampled beats, thrashed guitar riffs and snarled vocals which distills the spirits of Daf, Nitzer Ebb and the late eighties Wax Trax! label contingent perfectly. Read More
