Tree pick up dates...
THis is great that the city is doing this I think...If you want your tree's to be picked up here is all the info... Twice in January, Waste & Recycling Services will pick up Christmas trees from Calgary households that currently receive City residential garbage collection. Have your tree out by 7 a.m. on one of the following Saturdays: Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 Place your tree where you normally put your garbage out for pick up. It will be picked up no later than Monday.

Nov.30th... deflated...
5 seconds! 5 seconds! I can't believe it. I was literally speechless after last nights rider game. It's funny but it was a really neat feeling to see all of the green come spread out over our city like a wave. I would drive downtown over the wknd and there was not one second that I didn't see green! I love the passion. Even older grandma's were out there cheering and rockin their rider gear! I felt they played so great. Too many players on the field! Brutal! Maybe we got too excited, too soon. I don't know. OOOH poor Gainer! Well Rider fans we came close, it should have been our cup but as my dad said "we have to hold our heads high".

Well hope your Friday is going good! This weekend I will be teaming up with my Arthritis friends for the Jingle Bell Walk and Run for Arthritis. It is happening on Sunday out at Heritage Park. This is a non-competitive, fun, family oriented fundraising event for the Arthritis Society. We get to dress up in holiday costumes!
