July 3rd....Stampede!!!

Well this year's Stampede has definitely started off great! Last night Marc,Fuzzy and I headed down to Sneak a Peak, it was a lot of fun and I even had my first ever Corn Dog! So good! This morning was great, I was able to fill in on Mornings this past week and today we were live from the WildHorse Saloon for the parade! lots of people were out, lots of excited kiddies. Kim Stern came by to be our Vibe 98.5 Stampede Fashionista. She just opened up her new store...boutik on 1st! Head down there for all of your shopping needs. Want to thank the Wildhorse Saloon for taking such good care of us today, we had a blast.

July 2nd...So excited for tomorrow!!!

Well Stampede has officially kicked off with Sneak a peak night tonight! Tomorrow though is the Stampede Parade and I am lucky enough to be filling in with the boys in the morning and we will be live from the WildHorse Saloon. It's located at 6th ave and 4th street so come by and visit us! We have tons of prizes to give away so come say hi and hopefully you can score some goodies! Yeeehawww! See ya in the morning!

June 29th...Music filled wknd....

This past wknd the city was filled with things to do and I was lucky enough to get out and enjoy some of the festivities...First the Jazz fest was on, headed down to beat niq for some live jazz. Awesome. Then the best part of the evening was going to Dickens pub were we watched a band by the name of Monotonix...Unreal...I have never seen a performance like this before. It was rock music and they were all over the place. Their whole deal is not setting up on stage but rather in the crowd. People were flying everywhere. haha. It was super neat. If you ever get a chance to see them I'd suggest it! haha but prepare yourself...trust me.

June 25th....Sooo not ready for this...

Well the day is coming and I am so not ready for it!!! My Wifie is leaving me. Wifie (my roommate) is moving back to her home town and while I'm super excited for her this is going to be such a hard thing. Since I've moved to Calgary she has been the one person I have leaned on the most, we have had such incredibly fun times, got into a lot of trouble and have some really good memories to tell. This is one of those situations where I keep pushing it to the back of my mind, pretending that it's not happening. If anyone starts to talk about it, I start to sing out loud. hahaa. Ya can you tell that I avoid things.

June 24th...I want one, I want one!!!

Wow!!! I love this! Think about all the old school record players and now this! I am still searching to see if it's possible to purchase or if it is just a one time design. Here's the details on the designer etc....

"Korean designer rhea jeong has sent in images of her 'void' LP player. the record player uses a carrier and dock outfitted with a magnetic and auto-calibrating control system which carries the LP into thin air as it is playing music. a self-running record player shaped in the form of a red sphere, contains a needle, amplifier and speaker, spins around the record, bringing the music to life.

June 23rd...Drum kit T-shirt...

I have never seen this before but it's a drum kit T-shirt...Literally. The shirt has a built in speaker and you can actually play "the drums". Here's a Youtube I found with someone using it. haha...

June 22nd...Lame...

So I was crusin the Internet they other day and came across hunch.com, a website designed to help you make decisions. Bah! Honestly if we are now going to a website to determine what we feel like doing!!!! HELP US!!! How does this site exist! Who would use this? If I don't know how I like my coffee and couldn't figure it out for myself I should not be aloud out of the house!!!! And yes that is one of the questions on the site!

June 19th...When do you pee?

Happy Friday! If your going to be heading to the movies this weekend you might want to check out this website....www.runpee.com

You know when your sitting in a good movie and you really have to pee but don't want to get up because your scared you might miss something crucial, well this site tells you when the best time to do that would be. The website offers advice and a short description of the scene but doesn't give anything away. There is a section that says unscramble and if you click that it will go into detail, so if you haven't seen it yet don't click! Haha Bladder malfunctions are never fun so good luck.

June 18th...Tonight...Earls...Summer...

If you are looking for something to do tonight Earls Willow Park is having their summer patio party! Back in the day I was once an Earls lady and they have invited me to join them this evening. MMM I love summer and have spent many lazy afternoons on a patio, tonight though they are having extra things like...The theme, "welcome to the jungle"...they will have product tasting,a dj,and body painted people. It should be good, Wifie and I are headed down. See ya there.
