Wednesday, March 10th, 2010: Simon was right!!!!

Earlier this year when Simon Cowell announced that he was leaving American Idol after this season. There were alot of questions as to why now? 

Well after watching this season so far...I now know why. Simon realized that the talent has gotten diluted year after year and we are faced with the weakest season yet!!!

Maybe American Idol needs a hiatus like the one that Canadian Idol took last year.

The only problem is it doesn't look like anyone is resurecting Canadian Idol...

Friday February 12th, 2010: OH CANADA!!!!

Next week I'm going to be lucky enough to head to Vancouver...and I won't be going alone.

ATCO’s Celebrating Excellence program, the Government of Alberta and WinSport Canada are sending 249 girls and boys in grades 4 thru 12 from all across Alberta who are demonstrating excellence in each of their communities to Olympics...and I get to accompany them!!!

Kids were asked to submit short compositions explaining what they are doing to demonstrate leadership or their commitment to community. Check out some of the entries.

Thanks to the Canadian Government we didn't get the US feed of the Super Bowl and didn't get to see all the big Super Bowl ads.

Super Bowl is this weekend. And not only does Super Bowl bring out the best ads and the best parties...but it also brings out prop betting.

A chance to wager on things like which team will win the coin toss...who will score first...and how long will the National Anthem be???

There has been some speculation that the reason that no one has seen Tiger Woods is because his wife Elin allegedly struck him in the face with a golf club.

Well Tiger maybe ready for public appearances sooner rather than later...

International hotel chain Holiday Inn is offering a trial human bed-warming service at three hotels in Britain this month.

If requested, a willing staff-member at two of the chain's London hotels and one in the northern English city of Manchester will dress in an all-in-one fleece sleeper suit before slipping between the sheets.
