D'Gary/Dama Mahaleo - Long Way Home

The 1991 expedition to Madagascar by Henry Kaiser and David Lindley to investigate its local music scene unearthed many a treasure for Western ears, but two of the most prized finds have to be the astounding guitarist D'gary and the legendary singer Dama Mahaleo. Here they join forces for a session recorded in Louisiana aided by some local musicians as well as Kaiser.
